Idaho Adventure Girl Lower Salmon Trip

Multi-Day Rafting

Exclusive Lower Salmon rafting trip with KIM White

This 4-day, 3-night Lower Salmon River trip is a special departure hosted by @idahoadventuremom. Kim has been bringing guests down the Salmon with us for years, and 2026 marks her 5th trip. She’s introduced hundreds of people to river life, and her groups always bring a great energy—fun, relaxed, adventurous, and welcoming. This trip isn’t listed on our public calendar; it’s available only through this private booking page for Kim’s community.

We launch at Hammer Creek near White Bird, Idaho and ease into the warm, remote waters of the Lower Salmon Gorge. It’s a stretch of river we know like home—big canyon walls, long sunny pools for swimming, and fun Class III waves that get everyone laughing together early. As the river drops deeper into the four Lower Salmon canyons, the days settle into that familiar river pace Kim’s guests return for every year: a mix of rafting, swimming, exploring, and relaxing in a landscape that feels far from anything rushed.

Each afternoon we pull into one of the huge white-sand beaches this river is famous for. The gear boat arrives ahead of us, camp starts coming together, and guests settle in however they like—reading, napping, going for a hike, playing games, or taking a dip in the river while dinner cooks. Evenings are one of the best times on the river: big meals, camp chairs in the sand, good conversation, and that soft quiet that always seems to arrive after sunset.

On the final morning, the canyon opens up toward the confluence of the Salmon and Snake Rivers. There, a jet boat meets us for a smooth upriver ride into Hells Canyon—an exciting finale that lets the group see a whole new side of the region. From Pittsburg Landing, our shuttle brings everyone back to Riggins.

It’s a simple rhythm, but it’s powerful. Kim’s groups have created some of our most memorable trips on this river, and we’re excited to share another year of adventure with her community.
