All-Day Rafting
One of The Best Experiences We Offer!
The All-Day rafting trip takes around 6 hours and includes floating 20 miles of river through 10 rapids. You start at Spring Bar and get out at Lucile. You stop halfway through the trip for lunch, which is provided.
The trip meets at 9:30 AM MST at the Wild River Adventures shop on Main St in Riggins and it ends around 5 PM MST at the same place. Our guides will provide you with all the necessary gear and safety that you need! The only thing needed to bring is appropriate attire to get wet, water shoes, and anything to help with the sun such as sunscreen or sunglasses!
After gearing up and a short shuttle ride to the put-in, we will begin our journey down the river. As we navigate the rapids, our guides will provide expert guidance and instruction, ensuring that everyone is comfortable and safe. The Salmon River is the perfect destination for groups and families of all experience levels. The rapids range from mild to wild, giving you the opportunity to test your skills and build your confidence as you navigate the river.

Trip Details
Duration: ~6 hrs round trip
Meeting Place: 419 N Main St. Riggins, ID 83549 (Wild River Adventures Shop)
Meeting Time: 9:30am MST
Length: 20 miles
Rapids: Class 3+ depending on flow, great for all experience levels.
Gear Provided: Type IV PFDs (Life Jacket), Splash Jackets and Wetsuits are provided depending on Weather and water temperature or upon request, All Other necessary Safety equipment.
Amenities: We will have snacks, water, beverages, and a filling Lunch.
Hydrate! We recommend bringing water in a reusable water bottle. NO GLASS on the river. Soft-shell coolers are permitted as long as your guide feels comfortable they will not pose a safety hazard. 😉
All participants must meet these requirements:
- At least 6 years old (unless high water conditions apply)
- Weigh at least 50 lbs
- Maximum chest size for life jackets is 58 inches
- Know how to swim
Our guides will adjust the trip based on conditions to keep it safe and fun.
- Swimsuit and non-cotton clothing
- Secure water shoes or sandals (no flip-flops)
Sunscreen and a hat
For guests staying in McCall, we offer a shuttle service on Fridays and Saturdays for the afternoon trip. If you need a ride on a different day, contact us to arrange transportation.
