Join us for an unforgettable 4-day/3-night songwriting retreat combined with the thrill of river rafting. This unique experience, led by accomplished instructors, includes songwriting sessions during lunch and afternoons, with practical lessons on various aspects of songwriting:

  • Song structure, chord progressions, melodies
  • Rhyming techniques, object writing
  • Overcoming writer’s block, co-writing secrets

  • Al van der Beek (Aug 1-4): Member of The Piano Guys, music producer, and educator
  • Annelise LeCheminant (Aug 1-4): Independent artist, vocal coach, and songwriting mentor
  • Jeff Plankenhorn (Aug 12-15 & Aug 19-22): Award-nominated musician and inspiring teacher

What’s Included?

  • All food, camping, river, and safety gear

Instruments Provided

  • Small guitars and mini keyboards available
  • Personal instruments can be accommodated in waterproof cases

Restrictions: No large instruments like pianos or tubas.

Big Water Blowout

June 1, 2024

Join us the first Saturday of June for a high octane big water rafting event. Quick laps on the river and a cookoff in the Riggins City Park make for a unique experience.

2nd Sunday Skills Clinics

Join us on the 2nd Sunday of each month to improve or learn a new skill. A variety of clinics will be taught each month from dutch oven cooking to Whitewater Kayaking. Improve your guide skills, learn to read water and rig gear boats. These clinics are great for all experience levels. We’ve got classes in art, music, geology, hydrology, and more for those that would prefer to hit the water another time.
